"Natural beauty- an interrelated network of parks and trails"

The city of Carver Minnesota has an interrelated network of parks, trails, and natural resource areas for public use. It’s recreational elements, rich history and river city culture are some of the key elements that define the city. 'www.CityOfCarverMN.com' is a website I created about Carver that takes an in depth look at it's community life, parks & trails, schools, history, and more.

"Carver County's Oldest City"

Carver, a little town located southwest of Minneapolis on the Minnesota River, lays claim to being Carver County’s oldest city. In fact, most of Carver’s historic district, including homes and commercial buildings, is on the National Register of Historic Places. Annual summer events include an antique show and Steamboat Days, celebrating the city’s history with family fun.

"Great City in Carver County."

Carver is a sleepy little town in Carver County that is coming to life with new developments, shopping and recreation. The latest big edition to Carver is the Mills Fleet Farm store in town. If it's made MFF probably stocks it. Plenty of activities with an expansive array of park/trails and lakes to utilize. Wonderful schools with smaller class sizes than most of it's neighbors. The new extension of Hwy. 212 makes a commute to Minneapolis a possibility and about 25 minutes to the MSP airport. Stop by and check it out.
Pros
  • Good Schools
  • Wonderful Parks and Trails
  • New Developments
Cons
  • A bit farther west of Mpls.
