"On the Banks of the Mississippi"

Brooklyn Center, located on the banks of the Mississippi River, is one of the oldest inner-ring suburbs of Minneapolis, yet it still offers many buildable sites for both residential and commercial use. Brooklyn Center also boasts 522 acres of parks with numerous recreational programs for kids, the Earle Brown Heritage Center, and the headquarters of Caribou Coffee. With great plans for its future, including redevelopment of the old Brookdale cite and a new FBI field office.
