I like Palmer Park for kids in Roseland, though Abbott Park is supposed to be okay also.

There are two good parks to take the kids to. They are Smith Park (9912 S Princeton Ave) and Block Park (346 W 104th St). Both of these parks offer slides, jungle gyms, swings and all the other fun things that kids love.
