Riverside Dr, Willow Glen

Riverside Drive, in the Palm Haven area of Willow Glen, is one of those streets that makes San Jose a good place to live in. Close enough to downtown that a cab ride is a reasonable bet, but far enough a way to feel like a true home, this area is one of the most desirable in San Jose.

The neighborhood is very safe, and while the homes are moderate, the decor is not. Palm Haven is intended to feel like Hollywood; in fact, the towering palm trees were planted there for that very reason. The weather also makes this more believable, as San Jose is located at the bottom of the Valley, where the heat is prevalent and the fog rarely rolls in.

While it is not cheap to buy here, rent is more reasonable and it is definitely a better area than some neighboring spots. Nightlife is rather nonexistent, but downtown is close enough!
