The closest airport to Pawling...isn't really an airport. Stormville Airport used to be one, anyway, but now it's a giant flea market. Candlelight Farms Airport in New Milford, CT would then have to be the closest. It appears to be all personal aviation and no commercial flying, however.
Danbury Airport is next, but there's really nothing commercial there, either. Dutchess County Airport in Wappinger stopped commercial flights a number of years ago. The closest international airport to Pawling is Stewart Airport in Newburgh, and you're probably looking at close to an hour to get there.
