Are fireworks legal in Pawling?

Fireworks aren't legal anywhere in New York State unless you have a permit, and who knows how someone would even go about getting one of those. Usually the only places you see (legal) fireworks in Dutchess County are at the shows arranged by town governments.

According to New York's website, they do now issue fireworks permits on a very limited basis for private events. I'd say then that it is possible in Pawling but probably very difficult to do legally.
