People who have never actually roamed around Paterson Nj say that it's slum,why?

certain parts are slummy like the 4th ward.

Because it is slum! Kids killing kids, gangs on every corner, people getting robbed at gun point every day... The dope heads begging for money, prostitution every where... dont try and say Im wrong either I live here for a very long time I know what it is first hand. Anyone who says it isnt slum is because they have not experienced life outside of paterson.
