Living in the Outer Richmond neighborhood of San Francisco is actually pretty chill as my kids like to say. First, except for the restaurants the area doesn't really pull a lot of partiers. There is only one bar that I know of in Outer Richmond.

But the location is still great. You are right by Ocean Beach and have parks on the north and south. You can play some golf, or hike or bike or just lay and stare up at the fog cover. Houses are slightly bigger and ths schools are good, so this is a really good place for middle class (SF Middle class anyway) families.

And it is affordable. I think its one of SF's hidden realestate gems, actually.
