Picture Taking - Is It a Violation of Civil Rights
Yesterday a group of people were had their pictures taken while they were protesting against Bloomberg's plan to close city schools.
According to a 1985 federal court ruling, it is illegal for the NYPD to take pictures of protestors unless a crime is being committed.
How do you feel about your picture being taken in public by someone you don't even know, or by the police?
Do you feel it is a violation of your civil rights to have any kind of picture taken without your permission? I would think it is a violation of your right to privacy.
What do you think?
