Mayor Bloomberg Voted The Best in Three Decades

According to the Metro.us paper, 38% of NYers believe Bloomberg is the best mayor in 3 decades.

I don't know about that one. I think he is often full of crap myself.

What do the rest of you think?

I'm not a fan, but then again I'm really disgusted with Giuliani, and anyone else (does this date me?) is before my time, as it were. Maybe they just polled young-ish people and it skewed the data...

Yeah, like we've said before - no mayor will ever be good enough for our city. 38% ain't exactly a whole lot of believers.

@BroadwayBK: I believe you and agree. When you look at the total population of NYC, 38% is just a drop in the bucket. If this city has 10,000,000 people, 38% mean that 3,800,000 people favor Bloomberg. What about the other 6,200,000 people?

Just sounds like the kind of poll where Bloomberg and his aunt Betty got together and agreed he was the best mayor ever. I mean, who exactly was part of this poll anyway?

And how many mayors have there been in the past three decades, anyway? Four! According to a google-search - Koch, Giuliani, Dinkins, and Bloomberg. Considering Dinkins only served one term, that really leaves three - and Bloomberg only got around 1/3 of the vote...maybe they picked the answers out of a hat!
