Katz's vs Carnegie
What do you guys think? I kinda prefer Carnegie. The pastrams on rye really blew my mind. The opinions expressed here are those of the individual and not those of StreetAdvisor. Report
You might also want to throw the 2nd Avenue Deli into the pastrami & rye mix.
I don't know Carnegie but Katz' pastrami and rye appeared in my dreams days afterward.
Nothing like a good pastrami and rye sandwich. I just had my first one recently and now I'm addicted!
I haven't been to neither so I can't say. However, I'll check out each one and see which is better. I'll report back when that time comes.
I never had pastrami before living in the city, so I completely associate pastrami and rye with the lower east side. Therefore I guess I have to vote for Katz's, even though when I lived on the block a random tourist would ask me how to get there at least once a day.
