Has Anyone Been in the Cash Cab

I just noticed on TV the program Cash Cab. The cab looks like any normal cab on the outside until you get in. Once you tell the cab driver where you go, he turns on lights and stuff and begins to ask you questions. For every so many blocks he drives, he will ask you questions. The more you guess them right, the more money you win.

Has anyone been in the Cash Cab? I haven't seen it yet. What is interesting about it, is the Cash Cab is only seen in NYC.

I have often watched the program on the Discovery Channel and even wondered how I would respond if I were to get into the Cash Cab. Often its easier to shout out answers at your TV set rather than answer aloud on 'live' tv.

Oh yea, they have a version of that in Germany I watched a couple of times.

Guess I'd never be on it because the minute some stranger approached me with a story about a reality show and getting into a car to get driven somewhere, I would automatically head in the opposite direction.

True enough, @uraniumfish. Can't deny it certainly sounds a bit creepy! A pity there isn't a really "real" NYC reality TV show out there - I'm sure it'd be more interested than the scripted stuff.

I don't think it's possible for a "real" reality show to exist; something about sticking cameras in peoples' faces makes them act other than "real."

What could be better than Jersey Shore, though? God, I love it.

Sopranos is amazing, though I tend to be a latenick and haven't seen Jersey Shore yet to compare...

@Uraniumfish I havent had a chance to catch either Jersey Shore I mean but read about the 'Guido/Guidette' hullabaloo so was intrigued. Apparently you can watch all the episodes online at http://www.mtv.com/videos/jersey-shore-before-the-shore/1630711/playlist.jhtml if you are interested.
