Cops and Bullet-Proof Vests

I just read an article on NY1 about how a bullet-proof vest saved a cop's life.

I don't like cops that much, but I don't like seeing them get killed. So I think a bullet-proof vest is great to have. It can save lives. Too bad we can't all wear one.

Just watching the latest Law and Order on cop-killers - it's a tragic situation, and I'm glad there are ways to minimize the risks of serving on the NYPDs.

Yes, I agree. I was talking to a lady cop recently, and she told me her greatest fear was getting shot. This proves that the idea is usually in their minds, at least it was in hers.
