Be Careful Driving on the Van Wyck

The terrible weather we have been getting lately has left a mound of potholes on the Van Wyck Expressway in Queens. These potholes are so severe that local drivers have suffered from bent rims and flat tires.

The potholes are centered mainly between Rockaway Boulevard and Atlantic Avenue in Jamaica, Queens. The problem is so bad that drivers are facing damaged asphalt, potholes, and uneven surfaces.

If you are in the area, be careful and drive carefully.

Thanks for the headsup, @hhusted. I actually don't drive - I never learned, don't have a license, etc., but I'll be sure to pass the news along to some of my friends with cars.

Do you guys drive, btw? Not sure how common it is among NYers.
