20,000 Job Placements in 2009 in NYC

I was amazed when I read a press release that was dated for November 19, 2009. According to the release, Mayor Bloomberg announced that the city has placed New Yorkers in 20,000 jobs. To read more about how he did it, and what he did, go to this website:

If this is really true, this means NYC had some good news despite bad economic times.

Yeah, but at least it is a start. At least the report didn't say that 20,000 lost jobs. Any positive sign is an encouragement. Be optimistic instead of pessimistic.

NYC suffered the most with the recession. But there does seem to be signs of the city picking up a bit. Hopefully, every state in the nation will be showing signs of recovery soon.
