What public transportation options do I have from Morningside Heights, New York City?

Sadly, you only have the 1 train which is the local train on the red line. You can jump onto the 2, 3 express trains at 96th street, though, so the commute isn't awful. If you need to get cross town, you have to take the bus. There are a million of them, but they are slow as all get out.
