Montclare is nice, safe and quiet. If you want a bit of peace in the city, it's a good option. It is a bit of a ways out though, so I hardly call it part of Chicago.

Montclare is a quiet and safe neighborhood made up mostly of families. There isn't much nightlife to speak of, which makes it an ideal residential area for people in search of a tranquil part of the city.
