Unsound Festival coming to NYC

Poland's Unsound Festival is coming to the city this February, beginning on the 4th and extending for 10 days onward. Themed programming (electronic music workshops for kids, Andy Warhol-inspired peformances and spotlights on artists, musicians and composers from East Berlin) can be witness in both Brooklyn and Manhattan, and tickets are being sold separately for each individual venue.

Sounds like it will be a great performance. What do you think the price of tickets will be?

@Uraniumfish Events with "wordless music" are being held at le poisson rouge: http://lepoissonrouge.com/events/search?q=Unsound

@hhusted Tickets vary. Some of the shows are free, some tickets are about $20.... every show is different. Check out the website for details, as there are too many performance to list here.

Yeah, I'm making strategies about when to get down to the poisson, so I may see this "wordless" stuff during the festival...let's see.

Cool. I'll take a look and check it out. Sounds like a great plan to me. Any time I can save money, I jump on the chance.

@ajadedidealist I'm sure it depends on the venue

Just got the new NYC Flavorpill weekly in my inbox and it featured some more info on this event: http://flavorpill.com/newyork/events/2010/2/2/unsound-festival-new-york?utm_source=newyork&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=issue_504

and also a free album download of Unsound artists.
