The Mamaroneck public library is great. My son took his first babysitting class there 18 years ago! And the Emelin Theater has still very good and family friendly performances.

There are so many community events each year in the Mamaroneck area. Events that come to mind is the Firemen's Parade (a must for families with young children), the Annual Wine Trail (6th year), the Turkey Trot Road race, the Halloween "Spooktacular" (window painting, costume parade - pets too! ,and don't forget the Haunted House), Sidewalk sales and we cannot forget the July 4th Fireworks Display. Mamaroneck host many charity events also and anyone within the community are always welcome to participate.

Mamaroneck has an acctive parks and recreation department and there are many community classes and programs. In the summer there are outdoor concerts and movies. Are you looking for information about any particular kind of community event?
