"Very cheap housing along Kiowa Avenue"
Where Kiowa Avenue connects to Ash Street there is a small apartment complex. As you travel east there are only homes backing up to this road for a little ways until you get to a string of mobile homes. In my opinion, some of these homes are not well kept up and some often have junk in their yards, bringing down the appearance of the rest of the street.
The street is located close enough to the schools for kids to walk across Colfax and over the train tracks, although this wouldn't be safe for younger kids. At the west end of Kiowa Street there is a very small park with a very small playground. There aren't any other amenities or anything else on this road, but it is close to the rec center, and several restaurants.
