Is there much crime in Hyde Park?

I have personally always felt very safe in Hyde Park and don't recall too many instances of crime, serious or otherwise.

Crime rates in Hyde Park appear to be pretty low. The highest risk is larceny, but even at that, its rate is well below the national average. Violent crime of all types is virtually non-existent, especially murder.
