Hermosa is a nice neighborhood, which is a relatively bland adjective, but it's a sorta bland neighborhood. It's a good neighborhood, but there isn't a whole lot to say. The people are nice, it's relatively safe, and I've always had a good time here. There just aren't a lot of good bars or restaurants. On the plus side it's right near some more exciting neighborhoods, so living here wouldn't be too bad since you could walk to a fun bar or restaurant fairly easily.

It's a pretty charming, quiet area with lots of parks. Although there isn't a lot to do here, it is a great neighborhood for families and anyone that wants a safe place to call home.

From personal experience, the Hermosa neighborhood has been pretty quiet and peaceful especially in the area I live in. There is a catholic church, a college prep Highschool, other surrounding elementary schools, a park, and local businesses like private preschools, Walgreens, and restaurants. The neighborhood has much potential especially with businesses down Armitage.
