Hermose is pretty fun, and there are a fair number of younger adults in the area. I'd compare it with other great neighborhoods like Logan Square and Bucktown. It's not quite as lively, but it's still nice.

Hermosa is a bit removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown, so it's a largely residential neighborhood. It's quiet for the most part and almost suburban feeling, so it is kind of similar to Rogers Park, Avondale, and a few other quiet neighborhoods.
