Is Hayward around Meekland (meek park) safe? Any complex you can recommend that is safe for a women?

Hello, i am moving up to SFO bay for work reasons
but i am on a budget so thinking in hayward.
Specifically around meekland ave and close to meek park?
Any complex apartments that you can recommend as safe for women?
Thanks for any advise you might give me.

Check out city view apartments or look for inlaw units close to the university. My neighbors have rental units in their houses.
There are lots of people walking around here and I feel very safe in this neighborhood. anything near the university is pretty safe.
