Is parking a problem in Downtown, San Francisco?

Yes, parking in Downtown, San Francisco is a problem as it is throughout San Francisco. You end up either having to be constantly feeding a meter that won't go up more than a couple of hours or having to pay exhorbitant rates at one of the parking lots. Take public transportation--there is no better way of getting around SF.
