What are the schools like in Cragin, Chicago?

As far as I know, all of the grade schools in Bemont-Cragin are OK. It's worth doing some research when deciding on one, but there are a lot of them in the area. As far as high schools go, there's Steinmetz, Foreman and Prosser. These aren't really that great. Chicago has some serious issues with our public education. My grandmother taught at Steinmetz for 30 years and loved the kids, but the school itself isn't great. Foreman has some problems too. I think the best bet out of the three might be Prosser. There are several private schools in the area too - two that come to mind are St. Patrick's and Notre Dame.
