Are you wondering about neighborhoods with large Chinese populations, or locations of Chinese-related businesses such as restaurants and markets?

There are eight neighborhoods outside Chinatown which have Asian (mostly Chinese) populations in the 48-58 percent range:

Crocker Amazon
Parkside
Outer Sunset
Visitacion Valley
Excelsior
Ocean View
Outer Mission
Outer Richmond

In terms of Chinese retail activity, it tends to be concentrated along Clement and Geary Streets in the Richmond District, along Irving Street and Noriega Street in the Sunset, Taraval Street in the Parkside, and San Bruno Avenue in Visitacion Valley.
