Is Chinatown in Chicago a safe neighborhood?

Chinatown is definitely safe. I haven't really seen a large police presence there, but there's no danger. It used to be much seedier than it is now - the area has been cleaned up quite a bit.

Absolutely. Chinatown is extremely safe, especially as it's a major tourist attraction. The city has extra police in the area to make sure people don't have bad experiences when visiting. Definitely one of the safest areas in Chicago.
