Is Bucktown in Chicago a safe neighborhood?

No. There are no safe neighborhoods in Chicago. You have to go to the suburbs to get some safety. Even there they creep into now and then. The city is overrun by gangs. They don’t keep criminals locked up, so they go there from all over the US to commit crimes.

Absolutely. It is a bit young, but it's mostly young professionals, and most people there are educated and have some money, so crime isn't bad. But Bucktown is definitely one of the safer neighborhoods in Chicago.
