Reason Bronxville is one of the best schools in the nation is that they pay the most to get the best teachers. It's why your taxes are so high in this town. Figure if you had two kids going to private school you would pay out of pocket for that school and get no tax deductions, meanwhile going to Bronxville you get the best schools and the tax deductions. Most family's move from the town after their kids graduate because of the taxes.

One of the unique things about Bronxville is the fact that all the kids are in the same building from kindergarten through 12th grade. The district is small, with about 1,600 students. On elementary state exams, the passing rate is extremely high; between 82 and 88%, which is exceptional. At the high school level, 100% of students passed 4 out of 8 Regents exams. On the other 4 exams, passing rates were 98-99%, which is also really impressive.
