I have to say Fairview, but I'm biased since I graduated from Fairview. :) I do know that Fairview does offer the IB (International Baccalaureate) Program. I'm not sure if Boulder High offers it. Overally, I'd have to say both high schools are pretty close in terms of quality. I have also heard that Niwot High School is excellent.

It is hard to say what is the best high school since they are all very good and have different strengths. My daughter is 13 and in 8th grade, currently she attends Horizon K-8. Horizons has been a great option for her with the small classrooms and experiential learning. At this time She has class mates that are planning on going to New Vista, Boulder High, Fairview, and Monarch in Louisville. Truly the best approach with Boulder schools is to visit with the "Lead Teacher/Principal" and see where the strengths of the school align with the child. If you have and Engineering oriented child Centaurus with its pre-engineering academy may be a good choice, if they are theater oriented another school may be the one. The great thing about Boulder schools is they each have something for everyone.
