I really like Eben G Fine Park on Arapahoe. It's right next to the creek, and it is a great spot for a picnic. This park also has a great playground for kids.

Chautauqua is one of my favorites. It's right at the base of the flatirons just off of Baseline and 9th St.. There are large trees, pinic tables, large grassy areas, a seasonal dining hall and miles and miles of hiking trails. It is a must see when you are in Boulder.

I really like North Boulder Park, it is huge, great view of the foothills, near downtown, and has playground equipment, baseball fields, some large trees ringing the park, just overall a relaxing, beautiful green space in Boulder. I love to go there in the summer and play Petanque (bocce ball) with my friends.

Scott Carpenter park along the creek path off 30th is a great park to lounge in the sun or sled down the hill, and the kid playground is a rocket ship park!
