Are there any good places in Boulder to go snowshoeing in winter?

Yes, you can trample around Chatauqua since it is so open but unless there is enough snow the dogs and footprints will crush away the powder:( Even though it is not in Boulder, there is the Hessie trails up past Eldora past Ned, this is a prime spot for snowshoing and takes about 45 in the winter from Boulder. There are also open space trails near Lee Hill road that I like...
