All of my children were educated in Jefferson County Schools. I thought they received a good education that prepared them to take the next step, which for them was college. My sense is that so much of successful education depends on the teacher their means of connecting with the student. One could go online and search out test scores by school, if that is important. Teaching children to grow and excel in spite of their teachers or their school is an admirable goal for parents to develop in their children. Therefore, maybe it is not as important to try and find the "best" school, but rather to help the child grow regardless of their school environment and the educators who are found therein.
