San francisco's fillmore st is a famous shopping street and district. The closer you get to the marina, the nicer it gets. There are great clothing stores, retail shops and even bookstores. The shops are definitely a bit yuppy and are frequented by the middle aged and elderly. Lots of tourists hang around here as well.
