Pacific Heights is known for its schools. San Francisco University High School, for example, offers a host of AP classes to its affluent student body. The nearly 400 students at Town School for Boys enjoy a student to faculty ration of 8 to one. Not to be outdone by the boys, the nearly 400 girls at Sacred Heart also enjoy an 8 to one student-faculty ratio. Smaller Drew also has a number of AP classes. Even the public schools are above average, with Gateway High School scoring solidly in most test areas.
Overall a very good area for kids if you can afford the high real estate prices and tuition costs.
