Yorkville is a pretty sleepy neighborhood that tends to have an older, more settled demographic. I don't know that I can come up with even 10 must-do activities in the neighborhood but here goes . . .
1. Drinks at Uptown Lounge
2. Take yourself on a walking architecture tour (the buildings are gorgeous)
3. Watch your very own episode of Gossip Girl (elite private schools Chapin and Brearley are in the neighborhood and these kids give a new meaning to privileged)
4. Walk along the East River in the park
5. Walk down to Serendipity for a life changing dessert.
6. Arturo's Pizza on York and 85th
7 Dinner at Jacques
8. Brunch at Candle Cafe on 3rd and 75th
9. Picnic at nearby (walkable) Central Park

Ok, 9 is a lot. The neighborhood is about as far from jamming as you can get.
