What are the schools like in West Portal, San Francisco?

The public schools in the area from West Portal Elementary and Hoover Middle School to Lincoln and especially Lowell High, are above average in terms of test scores. You also have a good half dozen private schools from Catholic schools to a Russian school. So you definitely have a big range of choices as far as school goes.
