Anyone know anything about the neighborhood of 181st street and audubon Ave in Washington Heights?

this is appropriate for a dominican immigrant on a very tight budget, or for some sort of urban pioneer who doesn't mind loud music and a frenetic pace. based on your photo, you will stick out like a sore thumb. i would look at washington heights and inwood, but west of broadway.

It's walking distance to the the train station ( 181st and St. Nicholas Ave) and close to Yeshiva University. Audubon is not a particular noisy or crowded avenue, despite being so close to St. Nicholas Ave
