"pleasant town growing fast"

i really like living in elk grove. it is generally clean and my neighborhood is very quiet. my neighbors for the most part are friendly. i am known by name at all the local grocery stores that i frequent, so it has a nice community feel to it, and makes my shopping experience quite pleasant. there are lots and lots of parks for my kids, and plenty of shopping and eating, and also has teo movie theaters and a few gyms. i would deffinetly recommend this town for anyone looking for a nice place to live. it is on the move and growing bigger pretty fast. but everything is real nice.close to freeway access. pretty much in between the 99, and the I-5 so getting around is no problem.

"lots of shopping with nice surrounding neighborhoods"

camden ave has lots of places to eat and shop. the surrounding neighborhoods are nice and quiet and clean. theres a cool tattoo shop there called marks of art, and where camden highschool used to be they built a nice shopping center with some fast food, shops, grocery store, and a park/rec center behind it.

"home of the winchester mystery house"

winchester blvd has lots of shopping like valley fair mall and santana row fairly close by. but the winchester mystery house is the place to go. this has got to be one of the coolest places i have been and they even offer nighttime tours on halloween. kinda creepy feel to it but very cool.

"main drag of downtown"

south of market first st is full of all kinds of places to go hang out if your looking for some fun at night. lots of bars and clubs with a variety of styles, be it dance hall reggae, to punk rock. there are some pool halls as well and the light rail runs through most of downtown so transportation is good if you are not up for walking.

"close to downtown but in the ghetto"

this was deffinetly the ghetto. im sure there are worse places, but this street was not quiet or clean. lots of traffic as this is in the downtown area. only thing it has going for it is that it is close to public transport and downtown and there are plenty of bars and clubs downtown. still within walking distance of downtown as well.

"close to downtown and cal trains"

this was a pretty nice street when i lived here. almost bordering on the ghetto in some spots, but some surrounding areas were real nice. close to downtown and willow glen. cal trains station is only a few blocks away. also fairly close to the rose gardens and the rosicrucian museum.

"major street so pretty busy"

wasnt such a bad place to live. major street so a decent amount of traffic passes by. there are a few school in walking distance by a few blocks to a mile or so. gas station up on the corner and a quick mart. not too much in the shopping sense unless you want to drive a few miles down the road. then there are plenty of stores and fast food restruants.

"quiet family oriented and peaceful"

"fairly quiet and pleasant city living"

is a nice quiet street with not too much traffic. the neighbors are great and there is a school/park across the street. i feel secure enough to let my children play in the neighborhood without worrying about any strange people wandering up to hassle them. also as traffic is not bad i am not so worried about them being hit by a car. there is also a highschool right around the corner as well. maybe a few blocks walking distance, across one major intersection. overall a very pleasant street.
