""Busy hustle and bustlers""

The road where you can find the CDC, Emory Clinic and EU Hospital and Wesley Woods all in the same vicinity. Clifton Road has everything you need minus an actual place to live, except if you're either a doctor, college student or a patient. Some patients do actually live in the hospital, I'm serious. Other than that everything is pretty much mundane.

The traffic jams are pretty regular on this road. The level of healthcare at these facilities are far more superior than the traffic, however!

So take a change and visit, just don't move in because you may not be able to afford it anyways!

""Soooo serene it is...""

Have you ever driven road that was so perfect, it looked as if no one lived there. Well, this road is almost like that. Ok, nevermind the Clifton Road traffic, but when you just drive by all the houses there, you see PERFECTION!. Some of these houses aren't even the most newest or the biggest houses, but they all seem to mesh well together.

I rarely see people outside. Except in their cars, waiting for the traffic lights to turn green. I do see a very nice nieghborhood that you may want to be in for most of your adultlife. There is even a horse ranch, nicely disguised as part of a house's lawn. The 'Voight' has been there forever, but most people don't even know that it exists. Most of the people I've seen walking the streets are nice, elderly people.

So if you're looking for a good classic community, then this is it!

""Great to be downtown""

Well they say downtown is always fun. It's true if you like being in traffic all the time, but accessible to everything. Fourteenth street is pretty much like the rest of the numbered streets. Lot's of pavement, plenty of bums asking for spare change, and even some nice attractions to go to.

The 14th street bridge is pretty well known because there's always traffic and construction work taking place. Then there's the playhouse and some more lesser attractions that get credit for just being open!

A couple of streets are nice to go down, because getting lost may be the only way to at least site see! So if you're ever trying to find a street downtown to get lost on, well Fourteenth Street may or MAY NOT be open...!

"Can you say Lil' Mexico"

If you can read many of the signage in spanish than maybe you would recognize all that Buford Highway has to offer. This is indeed a highway but also small enough to be considered a street.

It connects 'downtown' with 'midtown' and all along the way you'll enjoy the many shoppes, casitas and restaurantes that you see. Oh, did I mention bars. If you like to the nightlife and good Miexan food, then Buford Highway is the place!

Just remember to be a translator along for the ride. Particularly, Buford Hwy near Lenox rode will be a shocker as you go from the neighborhood amigos to the posh businessman-not necessarily gender specific. As always, I'm sure you may even get a taste of the 'cultured' life.

"A safe haven- NOT!"

Memorial Drive is a loooong street. I mean it runs forever, connecting Atlanta all the way down 'til Decatur where it's greater. Memorial Drive is probably called just that because theu have stips malls galore, soul food and ethnic restaurants and every hair, nail and barber shop you can think of! You can never say that you could not find a place to eat and get your hair 'did all in the same trip.

Now don't get me wrong, eventhough it has some cool places to spend money, its not to say that maybe you should just move right on in. Memorial Drive is not the safest place to raise your kids. There is a police precinct right on Memorial and Interstate 78 for that reason! So be careful, especially when catching the train at the local station.

"A college street with college values"

Clairmont Road is a hip street if you are a college student or if you have a family. You do not need a car to get around, you can go by foot, bike or a nice set of skates. There are restaurants out the wazoo! Willy's Mexican Grill is my favorite.

There are several bookstores to make you feel smart and awesome cafes where you can study or chat with your amigos. The scenery is true to the University scene: nice, pristine and very inviting. You can do almost anything you want and feel very safe doing it. There is also a local YMCA for the neighbors that live there. It's a nice balance between a college town setting and just your average-every-day neighborhood.

Stop by and even enroll in school while you are there. You can also be a patient of the best medical care there is in the Southeast: Emory Healthcare

"Noisy and you need to have a friend with you"

So If you like to travel with a friend then I must say you should when you visit Peachtree NE. Pretty much any Peachtree Road, Street of Place in Atlanta. After all you'll most likely end up on any of the 'Peachtree' pavements because there are a dozen.

This particular one is one of the less urban but still careful attention is needed when traveling here. The curbs are pretty much nonexistent and are often times laden with bums who may stop and ask you for change. You would need to stay closer to the curb rather than towards the buildings that attract the bums. A friend is necessary! Not to mention the traffic is horrendous. Peachtree Ne has some nice hotels and the stores are decent, yet the urban feel is definitely not for some!

""Way too overpriced""

This street is EXACTLY how it sounds--for the EXECUTIVES! If you are big-time, then this street is the place for you! Recently this street had a HUG apartment complex that was built. The price to rent these apartments, yes I did say apartments are about 2 g's per month.

Now, I must also say that if you are lookiing for a nice place to work and live then this would be a nice place to consider. But remember: SHOW ME THE MONEY!! There are several reputable companies that thrive in this office park. It is nestled behind N. Druid Hills and there are some really nice houses back there as well.

The street itself lacks life because it is mainly building and roads so it takes on more of a generic office park feel. So a warm and fuzzy feeling is not what you experience until of course you are exclusively inside the apartment complex. Pretty busy at times with traffic and with the commuters who do not have the luxury of living next to the place where they work!

"A nice hub if you have some mulah!"

Well Lavista Road is a happening place but you really need to have some mulah before you even think about moving over there. There are tons of beautiful eye-catching houses mixed in with the most beautiful greenery that you can imagine. It seems like every neighbor there knows how to make their lawn look extra pretty.

Lavista Road runs right into to Briarcliff and on the other end of Lavista is Clairmont. Lavista has a rich and diverse community. It is always nice to go to the Toco Hills Shopping Plaza and see the Jewish residents who often stroll the neighborhood some dressed with their tall hats with their wife or kids right by their sides.

I often just wanna stop and take pictures of the very warm and neighborly feeling I get just by driving on this street!

"Quiet and a nice place to walk the dog"

North Druid is one of the best streets to walk your dog, jog with friends and do just about anything fun!
This road is pretty long, extending from Buckhead all the way to Lawrenceville Highway. Two major interstates are easily accessible from this street. It is probably better to access any of the stores or restaurants by foot, because N Druid can become rather congested at times.

Other than the traffic pains, North Druid is a pretty quiet street. It is nestled within the Emory area and you can definitely expect to see the most beautiful and costly houses there. Most of them, probably are home to many of the physicians and staff that work close by.

If you don't mind spending a little bit of extra money to live ona nice and fun street, then this is definitely your place to be!
