"A Gorgeous Street With a Ton of History"

South Ann Street in Mobile, AL, in my opinion is one of the most beautiful streets in Mobile. S Ann Street has some of the most gorgeous houses, churches, and old buildings in the city. Most of the houses on this street are well over 100 years old and have been acknowledged by the city's historical society deeming the house or building a historical landmark. As you drive down S Ann Street, you are very aware of the age of these buildings just by looking at them. Another attraction to the street is how the oak trees dangle over the road like you're going through a tunnel. This is such a site to see as you walk through the historical district on a warm, spring Mobile day.

"A Small Road With a Lot of History"

Home to the tallest building in the State of Alabama, Royal Street is constantly growing. Although the street is not very long, there is tons to see. Also located on Royal Street is one of the oldest hotels in the state as well. The RSA Tower and The Battlehouse Hotel are both located on Royal Street. During the day, this street is bustling with office managers and company presidents. The evening hours give way to lighted towers, live jazz music, and plenty to eat. Tucked away in downtown Mobile, this Royal Street has a quiet, hometown feel to it that eveyone can enjoy.

"Feels Like Home"

Hillcrest Road in Mobile, AL is one of those streets where you always feel at home. A lot of the street is residential, however, the northern part of Hillcrest is dedicated to retail shopping. On the south end, many of the homes are only 25-30 years old, much younger than other parts of town. At the opposite end of the street, there are several retail shops such as dress boutiques, hair salon's, and grocery stores. There is normally not a lot of traffic up and down Hillcrest, so it gives off the small town allure. Almost anything you need on a day to day basis can be found on Hillcrest.

"An older part of town with an always changing look."

Dauphin Street in Mobile, AL is one of the most dynamic streets in town. On the west end of the street, there is a very large hospital, lots of shopping, and plenty to eat. The east end of the street tells a far more different story. Downtown Dauphin Street is the place to be on Friday and Saturday nights. Filled with pubs, dance clubs, and dives this part of town is always hopping. In between offers an excellent look at many of the historic houses in Mobile since many of these houses are more than 100 years old. No matter which end of Dauphin Street you find yourself on, there is always something for everyone.

"Crowded Street, Many Options"

Airport Boulevard in Mobile, AL is probably the busiest street in town. This street is always bustling with traffic, cyclists, and walkers. However, if you are willing to brave all of this, there are many treasures to be found. This street has it all...from retail shopping, to gyms, to eating, you can find most anything on this street. Some of the local fare includes Double Olive, Antiques at the Loop, and Paper Jubilee. Other major retailers include Dillard's, Olive Garden, and Omni Health and Fitness. So whether you're in need of a brand new cocktail dress or just an old antique bar stool, Airport Boulevard is the street for you.
