"Branson, Missouri"

Branson is a town nestled in the ozark mountains of south west Missouri. It is a well known vacation/tourist destination that prides itself as a "family vacation destination". It could be compared to a Las Vegas without the gambling and adult themes.
Branson is home to Silver Dollar City amusement park, which is a country-pioneer times themed amusement park, complete with roller coasters, kiddie rides, log rides, shopping and fun places to eat. You can also see different exhibits like glass blowing, blacksmithing and candle making how it was done in the pioneer times. There is also an outdoor water park; White Water. White Water has a wave pool, water rides and an aloha river (lazy river). There are numerous places to play mini golf, as well as ride go carts or bumper boats. If you're looking for other entertainment, Branson has over 100 shows to choose from. There are musical variety shows, impressionist/tribute, magicians, hypnotists, dinner theaters and more. Branson has approximately 57,000 theater seats....more than Broadway in New York City! So, you are sure to find shows for kids and adults of all ages. Branson has a new youth baseball field for families of travel ball kids. There are 5 replica fields of major league fields. Check out Ballparks of America! Branson has a new addition this year in a HUGE ferris wheel. The city acquired this ferris wheel from Chicago's Navy Pier. It offers a fun and different perspective to see Branson from high atop the ferris wheel. At night, the ferris wheel is lit up with thousands of LED lights and set to music for an impressive music show to entertain all!

If you are looking for outdoor activities, Branson can meet those needs too! You can boat, fish, tube and water ski on Table Rock Lake. During the summer, the lake averages between 85*-90*. There is a full service marina complete with a cafe, boat rental and scuba dive shop. There is also a campground with full RV hookups. There is fishing access, swimming access, a picnic area, hiking and mountain bike trails. You could also take a kayak or canoe out on Lake Taneycomo. Dogwood Canyon is also great option for hiking, walking and biking trails.

For golf enthusiasts, there are around 7 major golf courses around Branson. Branson is host to the new PGA Big Cedar Legend Tournament.

There is great shopping in Branson as well! Small, "mom and pop" type stores are located throughout Branson. They are always fun to pop into and see what goodies you might find. If you are looking for bigger brand names, then you can go to either Tanger Outlet Mall or to the Branson Landing. Tanger Outlet Mall has lots of big name stores that you can find deals at throughout the year. Branson Landing is an outdoor type mall. It has lots of shopping options as well as great dining & entertainment. Branson Landing is located on Lake Taneycomo so there is some beautiful scenery as well.

Branson is a great place to live or visit!
