"Overall a nice place to live, from downtown to the suburbs."

Middletown is a nice college city located right on the Connecticut River. It's home to Wesleyan University and is a city with much to offer. It has your usually chain and big box stores in the suburbs and boasts a newly revitalized Main St., including numerous fine dining restaurants, a movie theatre, and many shops to keep you occupied all day. The rural areas of the city contain most of the homes in the city, there are many beautiful areas for a home. The public schools are very good. and the city also has an all girls catholic high school and an all boys catholic high school. The city has numerous ball fields for all sports and in my well traveled opinion holds the best pizzeria in CT. I would recommend the city to anyone, whether starting a family or relaxing in the prime of your life.
