"quite neighborhood, mostly oldies"

Charae is a very short street on Governer. The residents are mainly ages people and retirees. Therfore it is a very quite area. On the other hand you have easy access to highway 56 which can take you to la jolla, and inter state 5 on the west, and highway 805 and 15 (along with a bunch of other highways in between) on the east. Rents are generally lower than most other places.

"avoid during rush hours"

Genessee is a very long avenue connecting North of San Diego to its South. The northern parts are generally more stylish, with some luxurious executive office complexes. The southern parts are mostly residential and not all that different from other southern parts. One big issue: Heavy traffic during rush hours, especially from la jolla village dr to Governer dr.

"grad houding, better prices"

This area is traditionally more popular among university of california San Diego graduate students (as opposed to undergraduate students who occupy most of this neighborhood). It is fairly close to UCSD, Westfield Mall, with access to inter state 5 and high way 805. Rent is in general more affordable than neighboring areas. Very nice and quite overall.

"close to VONS and restaurants, beware of parties"

Arriba is a very short street with a very high density of population. There a re numerous University of California San Diego students living on this street. Which may make it a bit noisy, especially in weekends when undergrads throw parties. But it is very lively and I like the style and architecture of buildings in this street.

"Home of La Regencia, close to shopping"

One of the most popular privately owned residentials among students of university of California San Diego is the La Regencia apartment complex which is located here in this street. It is conveniently close to VONS shopping and also a few eateries, banks etc. There are both city both routes and UCSD shuttles passing by here.

"Student housing, Close to shopping"

Lebon is perpendicular to Nobel! yeah I mean both geographically, and linguistically (L>E>B>O>N N<O<B<E<L) !!! Close to VONS and a bunch of eateries. Popular among University of California San Diego students. There are a few residential complexes here, mostly occupied by UCSD students. There are also a couple of UCSD shuttles passing by.

"connecting UCSD to highway 5"

Gilman starts right inside the University of California San Diego (right behind the engineering buildings actually) and runs troughout UCSD, and all the way down south where it hits Inter state 5. Apparently it is very popular among runners and bicyclists (you see hundreds os them on weekends). Overall a very nice street.

"Strategic location:close to every where and every thing."

On the east, Nobel drive hits Genesse Ave (which runs throughout San Diego north to south) and Westfield Mall. On the west it connects to Interstate 5, UCSD, and la jolla village square, with plenty of restaurants, and grocery stores (Ralphs, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods). Housing prices are more reasonable In general, though surprisingly there is significant climate change as you go farther to the east.

"Beautiful tropical style"

Villa la jolla drive is located in the vicinity of University of California San Diego. For this reason it is very popular among UCSD students. There are a few nice residential complexes here. Also La Jolla Village Square, which is a fairly large shopping center is on this street. There is one AMC theaters, and one local La jolla theater.
