"Southmoreland Area of McGee Street is the place to be!"

My husband and I moved to the 43rd/McGee Street area about 4 years ago and we couldn't be happier with our choice. This is definitely an urban area, so you have to expect a bit of rif-raf, but generally its quiet, calm and really safe. I see women walking their dogs late at night alone, mothers with small children walking around, its really turning from a once college ghetto/ section 8 area to a single family residence area. The home values continue to go up as more and more historic homes turn from up to 6 unit apartment buildings back into beloved single family homes.

McGee Street is a pretty long street in KC, and I know that heading west into Waldo, McGee continues to be a great place to live.
