"Cosmopolitan with a small town vibe.."

Traditionally, the American Dream has been to live in a place with samll town sensibilities and views while being within 10 min of a world class city. Mill Valley nails it!! Great community spirit, schools, downtown, culrtural events and natural beauty. All around, great place to live!

"Everyone's dream town!"

I've been a home owner in Ross for 19 years and no town exists like it in the Bay area. It exudes the charm, community closeness and activities of yesteryear; yet offers the privacy, exclusivity and beauty one comes to expect from one of the most expensive zip codes in the nation. The K-8 Ross School is more like a private school, yet is public. It is just a stroll to downtown San Anselmo and Ross as well as miles of hiking and biking trails. People are friendly and kids roam around town safely. All around, a great palce to live!
Pros
  • Gorgeous, lush enclave of high end properties
  • Close to everything-town, restaurants, school, 101 access
  • Private, no traffic, small town, lots of community events, great school
Cons
  • Cost of living
  • Zoning restrictions
