"Quiet friendly street in an established neighborhood."

5th Street in LaSalle is a great neighborhood for everyone. Families with children of all ages are perfect, as there are several elementary schools and the high school are within walking distance. Grocery stores, post office and downtown are within a couple blocks. Also, several banks and gas stations nearby.
LaSalle parks are fabulous. Three state parks with great adventures are 6 miles away.
Neighbors are very friendly and we have wonderful diversity in the neighborhood also. Saying hello every morning and helping each other out occationally is what 5th Street is all about.
For shopping, besides downtown LaSalle, there is Peru Mall and downtown. You also are at the crossroads of Interstate 80/39 which makes it a snap to Ottawa, Rockford, Bloomington, Aurora or even Chicago in less than 1 1/2 hrs.
