This street is pretty quiet and simple with a few shops and restuarants. The good thing about this street is that it is very close to downtown Sausalito. If you are an outdoorsy person you would most likely like this area. There a good bus and ferry service you this is an ideal neighborhood for people who have to commute to San Francisco. It is also pleasantly close to a couple of beaches like Muir Beach and Stinson Beach.

A close friend of mine lives on this street, and I've got to say, I love visiting her! Bernal Heights Boulevard is quiet, especially during the work week, but there are definitely ways to stay entertained on the weekends with shops, marketplaces, and cafes near by. My young kids love visiting Bernal Heights as well because they love going to the park there. There is playground and friendly people with dogs that always chat with us. But if you are not a dog person beware because many people let their dogs roam without a leash at the park! Although it is a nice place, I cannot exactly see myself raising my family there, but it is a great place to visit.
