"Alot of Shady People"

Alot of shady things go on on this street. Alot of long time Bridesburg residents have moved to this street but there are alot of youths and borderline youths that stir the pot on this block. The yearly block parties start off good but often end in a big brawl. The gas company is on the street once every two months to fix a pipe and people look the other way if they see something happening. Although safe, you will see some things go down. It is one of the more wanted blocks in the neighborhood as it is close to a majority of the businesses: WAWA, Rite Aid, Old English Pizza and Phil's Hair Cuttery.

"Great Small Street"

Salmon St. embodies everything that one could hope living in Bridesburg. It has small row homes, a quiet feel and children welcome to play in the streets. Parking can be tough sometimes but where isn't it in Philly? The neighbors are often two faced and will talk trash on anyone. If you are able to keep to yourself I would definitely recommend living on Salmon St. but if you plan on getting along with your neighbors, I would avoid it.

"Is this really Bridesburg?"

Bridesburg is notorious for its pride from its citizens. The problem on this street though is that all of the houses are new and people lack the unity the rest of the neighborhood takes pride in. The location of I-95 so close is noisy and people dump trash at the end of the street often. The areas surrounding the houses are squeaky clean but as mentioned before, if you venture to the end of the street you will often see heaps of trash. The Postal Office also threw a curveball and ended door to door delivery on this block. The houses are great and everything is convenient, the location could just certainly be better.
